(1) Einkünfte einer im Hoheitsgebiet einer Vertragspartei
ansässigen Person, die in den vorstehenden Artikeln nicht
behandelt wurden, können ohne Rücksicht auf ihre Herkunft nur
im Hoheitsgebiet dieser Vertragspartei besteuert werden.

(1) Items of income of a resident of the sovereign territory of
a Contracting Party, wherever arising, not dealt with in the
foregoing Articles of this Agreement shall be taxable only in the
sovereign territory of that Contracting Party.
(2) Absatz 1 ist auf andere Einkünfte als solche aus unbe-
weglichem Vermögen im Sinne des Artikels 6 Absatz 2 nicht
anzuwenden, wenn der im Hoheitsgebiet einer Vertragspartei
ansässige Empfänger im Hoheitsgebiet der anderen Vertrags-
partei eine Geschäftstätigkeit durch eine dort gelegene Betrieb-
stätte oder eine selbständige Arbeit durch eine dort gelegene
feste Einrichtung ausübt, und die Rechte oder Vermögenswer-
te, für die die Einkünfte gezahlt werden, tatsächlich zu dieser
Betriebstätte oder festen Einrichtung gehören. In diesem Fall ist
Artikel 7 beziehungsweise Artikel 14 anzuwenden.

(2) The provisions of paragraph 1 shall not apply to income,
other than income from immovable property as defined in
paragraph 2 of Article 6, if the recipient of such income, being a
resident of the sovereign territory of a Contracting Party, carries
on business in the sovereign territory of the other Contracting
Party through a permanent establishment situated therein, or
performs independent personal services in the sovereign
territory of the other Contracting Party from a fixed base
situated therein, and the right or property in respect of which
the income is paid is effectively connected with such
permanent establishment or fixed base. In such case the
provisions of Article 7 or Article 14, as the case may be, shall
apply.
