(2) Das Abkommen tritt am Tag des Austausches der Rati -
fikationsurkunden in Kraft und ist anzuwenden
a) in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland:
i)
bei den im Abzugsweg erhobenen Steuern auf die
Beträge, die am oder nach dem 1. Januar 2011 gezahlt
werden;
ii) bei den übrigen Steuern auf die Steuern, die für Zeiträume
ab dem 1. Januar 2011 erhoben werden;
iii) hinsichtlich des Informationsaustausches nach Artikel 25
und hinsichtlich der Amtshilfe bei der Steuererhebung
nach Artikel 26 ab dem 1. Januar 2011;
b) in der Republik Türkei:
i)
auf die Steuern für die Veranlagungszeiträume, die am
oder nach dem 1. Januar 2011 beginnen;
ii) hinsichtlich des Informationsaustausches nach Artikel 25
und hinsichtlich der Amtshilfe bei der Steuererhebung
nach Artikel 26 ab dem 1. Januar 2011.
English
(2) The Agreement shall enter into force on the day of the
exchange of the instruments of ratification and shall have effect:
a) in the case of the Federal Republic of Germany,
i)
for taxes withheld at source, in respect of amounts paid
on or after the first day of January 2011;
ii) for other taxes, in respect of taxes levied for periods
beginning on or after the first day of January 2011;
iii) in respect of the exchange of information under Article 25
and in respect of the assistance in the collection of taxes
under Article 26 from the first day of January 2011;
b) in the case of the Republic of Turkey,
i)
for taxes with respect to every taxable period beginning
on or after the first day of January 2011;
ii) in respect of the exchange of information under Article 25
and in respect of the assistance in the collection of taxes
under Article 26 from the first day of January 2011.
