Dieses Abkommen bleibt auf unbestimmte Zeit in Kraft,
jedoch kann jeder der Vertragsstaaten bis zum 30. Juni eines
jeden Kalenderjahrs nach Ablauf von fünf Jahren, vom Tag des
Inkrafttretens an gerechnet, das Abkommen gegenüber dem
anderen Vertragsstaat auf diplomatischem Weg schriftlich
kündigen; in diesem Fall ist das Abkommen nicht mehr anzu-
wenden
a) bei den im Abzugsweg erhobenen Steuern auf die Beträge,
die am oder nach dem 1. Januar des Kalenderjahrs gezahlt
werden, das auf das Kündigungsjahr folgt;
b) bei den übrigen Steuern auf die Steuern, die für Zeiträume
ab dem 1. Januar des Kalenderjahrs erhoben werden, das
auf das Kündigungsjahr folgt.
Maßgebend für die Berechnung der Frist ist der Tag des Ein-
gangs der Kündigung bei dem anderen Vertragsstaat.

La présente Convention restera en vigueur pendant une durée
indéterminée; toutefois, chacun des États contractants pourra la
dénoncer à l’autre État contractant, par écrit et par la voie diplo-
matique, jusqu’au 30 juin inclus de toute année civile après expi-
ration d’une période de cinq ans à compter de la date de son
entrée en vigueur; dans ce cas, la Convention cessera de s’ap-
pliquer,
a) en ce qui concerne les impôts perçus par voie de retenue à
la source, aux sommes mises en paiement le 1 er janvier ou
après le 1 er janvier de l’année civile qui suit l’année de la
dénonciation;
b) en ce qui concerne les autres impôts, à ceux perçus pour
des périodes débutant le 1 er janvier ou après le 1 er janvier de
l’année civile qui suit l’année de la dénonciation.
La date à prendre en compte pour le calcul du délai sera la date
de réception de la dénonciation par l’autre État contractant.
