(1) Dieses Abkommen gilt, ohne Rücksicht auf die Art der
Erhebung, für Steuern vom Einkommen und vom Vermögen,
die für Rechnung eines der beiden Vertragsstaaten, seiner
Länder oder einer ihrer Gebietskörperschaften in Übereinstim-
mung mit seiner Verfassung und seinem Recht erhoben wer-

aplica este Convenio son:
a) En la República Federal de Alemania:
el Einkommensteuer (impuesto sobre la renta)
el Kórperschaftsteuer (impuesto sobre sociedades)
el Vermógensteuer (impuesto sobre el patrimonio); y
el Gewerbesteuer (impuesto sobre las explotaciones
industriales y comerciales), los que, en lo sucesivo, se
denominan “impuesto alemán”.
b) En la República del Ecuador:
el impuesto sobre la renta, inclusive los adicionales esta-
blecidos en la Ley de Impuesto a la Renta; y el impuesto a
los capitales en giro, los que en lo sucesivo se denomina»
rán “impuesto ecuatoriano”.
(3) Dieses Abkommen gilt auch für alle Steuern gleicher
oder ähnlicher Art, die künftig neben den zur Zeit bestehenden
Steuern oder an deren Stelle erhoben werden.
